Squirrels
Native to North America, the Grey Squirrel has thrived since being introduced to Britian in the late 1800's. Since then it has adapted and out - competed the Red Squirrel, and is now regarded as a significant threat to our local native species.
Being a rodent with large, sharp incisors they are capable of causing serious damage to houses (lofts etc) and woodlands, parks and forestry.
With such ramapnt expansion of populations, the Grey Squirrel is now considered a pest, and many rural control programmes are in place accross Britian.
Urban areas provide conditions under which it is able to thrive, with food and harbourage in abundance.
They are many options available for the control of the Grey Squirrel, but the only solution for long term successful control is proofing in domestic situations. We do not get involved in forestry or commercial woodland control.
